Your username on mindinglyfe.app is your identity. Thus, it cannot be changed. You are expected to create a new account if you want to use another username. However, If you want to use the email address in your account for the proposed new account, you are required to change it before deactivating it. To change your email address:
- Go to your profile settings
- Enter your new email and click save
- You will receive an email to your current email address requesting to confirm the change. Once the change is confirmed, you will receive a new email finalizing the change.
A mindinglyfe.app account may be disabled for several reasons. We are committed to ensuring that our marketplace is a safe and enjoyable place for all our users. You can read our community guidelines to review the major causes for a mindinglyfe.appaccount to be disabled. A user account may be temporarily disabled. When this happens, the user can access the account, withdraw funds, and communicate with other users. However, the user won’t be able to provide or seek service(s). When the account is temporarily disabled, the user will be required to wait for a trial period of 90 days to know if the account will be permanently disabled or restored. A user account may be permanently disabled. When this happens, it will not be restored. The user won’t be able to log into the account at all. Violation of our terms of services usually leads to permanent deactivation. There are certain situations where the mindinglyfe.app support team will issue a warning rather than disabling the account. When the account is warned, it will not affect the user’s right to use mindinglyfe.app. However, the user account may be finally disabled due to multiple warnings. For a first time violation of our terms of service, we give warnings. Furthermore, suspension is usually issued for a 2nd violation. A second warning of a different type for leveled service providers may lead to Account demotion. Where 3 warnings have been issued, the user account will be disabled.
To deactivate your mindinglyfe.app account:
- Click on your profile picture
- Settings>> Account Deactivation
- Choose a reason from the drop down>> Deactivate Account
Remember:
You can’t deactivate your account when there are still funds. Ensure you withdraw or refund before you deactivate the account.
Note that used email addresses and usernames can’t be used on any new account. Thus, you are required to change your email address before you close it.
Note that deactivation of your account does not automatically delete the information on the account. Feedback comments, public pictures and messages will remain.
